Motion Demo

For this assignment we practiced using panning to show motion in our photographs.  We took pictures of a motorcycle as it rode by and tried to pan with it so that the motorcycle stayed in focus while the background blurred.  We started at a shutter speed of 1/60 so that it would be slow enough to capture motion, but since it was really bright outside we had to decrease the ISO, or sensitivity to light and the aperture, or the amount of light coming in.  The pictures, however, were still pretty bright so we had to speed up the shutter speed.
